Meet the Board

Josh

Josh and his family moved into the neighborhood over 5 years ago and is a realtor and involved in other non-profit organizations.

Barbara

Barbara has lived in the area for over 18 years and held various positions on the board in the past 10 years.

Kyle

Kyle and his family have lived here for 5 years and he is involved in the medical field.

Peter

Peter is a realtor and his family has lived in the neighborhood for several years.

Elected Board Position that is open:

Secretary

The Secretary shall be a regular member of the Board of Directors. The Secretary shall keep a record of the minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors and of the General membership and perform such other duties as the Board of Directors may prescribe. Other duties are: Chair of the Communications Committee, the preparation of meeting agendas (with help of President) and the preparation and distribution of information to the organization through all means deemed appropriate including newsletters, both print and electronic, website updates, and other mechanisms as they become available.


Volunteer time: The Board meets for about 1 hour each month and also attends, when able, the neighborhood events.

Other Committee Positions:

Beautification Chair

The committee shall be responsible for encouraging and enhancing the unique charm of the neighborhood within the boundaries of the OPNA as directed by the Board of Directors.

 

Crime Watch

The Committee shall be responsible for establishing, maintaining, encouraging and monitoring Neighborhood Crime Watch Coordination within the boundaries of the OPNA as directed by the Board of Directors.

 

Block Captain

This committee is composed of the Block Captain Coordinator as Chair, Block Captain Supervisors, and Block Captains. This committee, through the block captains, distributes flyers and other materials to residences as needed as well as participates in the annual membership drive. Block captains also report new arrivals and other changes in contact information to the membership committee as people move in and out of the neighborhood.

 

Communications Committee

Committee member duties are to assist the Secretary (Chair of the Committee) in the preparation and distribution of information to the organization through all means deemed appropriate by the Board including newsletters, signs, both print and electronic, website updates, and other mechanisms as they become available.
